Filming and privacy

On camera

Phil's shows are sometimes filmed, and clips go online. Here is why, where they go, and how to ask for a video you appear in to be taken down or blurred.

Why

Filmed nights

Phil films some of his sets so that moments from them can be shared on his Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X accounts. Crowd work is a conversation with the room, so people in the audience can appear in those clips.

Clubs film their own nights too. Hot Water Comedy Club publishes clips on its own channels, under its own ticket terms (opens in a new tab).

If you are in one of Phil's videos

If you would rather not be, get in touch. Send the link to the video (or where and when it was filmed), and say whether you would like it taken down or your face blurred. Requests are dealt with as quickly as possible.

Phil can change only his own videos. For a clip on someone else's channel, such as a club's, please ask the channel's owner.

What you send is used only to deal with your request.
